About The Role

This full-time, permanent role offers the chance to influence meaningful outcomes and support a strong safety culture, with occasional domestic and international travel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading safety, quality, and environmental initiatives across our Australasia operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the effectiveness and compliance of our management system with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for certifications and audits and conduct internal audits as needed.
  • Manage and monitor non-conformances, ensuring effective corrective actions.
  • Report performance metrics to senior management, driving continuous improvement.
  • Champion quality, health, safety, environmental, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Conduct hazard and risk assessments, implementing control measures and monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Lead and manage process mapping initiatives to improve operational workflows, identify efficiencies, and ensure compliance with QHSE standards across all departments.
  • Support senior management in managing operational risks and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Oversee incident and accident reporting, investigation, and injury management, including return-to-work activities.
  • Develop QMS plans and documentation to support operational excellence.
  • Manage emergency preparedness and response protocols.
  • Foster a culture of active participation and consultation on QHSE matters across all levels of the organisation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas or energy industry.
  • Proven track record in implementing and maintaining quality management systems and certifications in relevant regions.
  • Tertiary qualifications in related fields.
  • Expertise in injury management and incident investigation.
  • Proficiency with administrative systems and tools, including SharePoint and Office 365.
  • Training and assessment qualifications are desirable.
  • Understanding of Myosh or similar Health & Safety Management Software system.
