About Our Support Worker Role

At The CareSide, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with their daily activities, providing emotional support and companionship, and helping them maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor medication and provide support as needed
  • Provide social support and companionship, engaging clients in activities that promote mental and physical well-being
  • Transport clients to appointments and outings, ensuring safe and comfortable travel

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, ensuring ability to respond to medical emergencies
  • National Police Clearance Certificate, verifying suitability for working with vulnerable individuals
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence, allowing transportation of clients
  • Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance, guaranteeing secure transport
  • Smartphone, facilitating communication and task management
