Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with special services, including gift wrapping, gift registry, and locating merchandise.
  • Efficiently process sales transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, features, and benefits, as well as current sales and promotions.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques to build sales and increase productivity.
  • Meet established sales and contest goals.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, signage, and lighting to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Uphold store and stockroom maintenance and cleanliness standards.
Requirements:
  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in specialty retail and/or homewares.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to connect with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift and move medium to large items, up to 30 kg, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
