Job Title: Collections Specialist

Randstad is seeking a skilled Collections Specialist to join their team in Australia's fastest-growing finance lender. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers, providing quality resolution of disputed accounts, and identifying solutions to restore secured and unsecured loans to good standing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess customer financial circumstances and identify solutions to restore loans to good standing
  • Receive and assess financial hardship applications
  • Liaise with external collections agencies, where required
  • Early stage skip tracing, where required
  • Assess and respond to proposed debt agreements and bankruptcy petitions
  • Implement and document effective collections processes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management and other internal teams
Requirements:
  • 2+ years' experience in unsecured or secured collections
  • Strong understanding of credit and collections regulations
  • Strong verbal communications and ability to build rapport with customers
  • High level of attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to work autonomously and think on your feet
