We are seeking a Project Security Officer to assist with the management and delivery of project security requirements on an upcoming large-scale project.
This is a site-based role, responsible for assisting our project team to manage physical and personnel security, in line with client security requirements and the project security plan.
- Liaise with client security representatives, security consultants, and certifying authorities for inspections and correspondence.
- Assist the Construction Security Manager in ensuring the Construction Security Plan is implemented and maintained throughout the construction phase.
- Undertake regular physical inspections of the construction site to ensure compliance with agreed design and security plan.
- Conduct Hold and Witness point inspections and oversee security quality assurance and record keeping processes.
- Manage personnel access approvals, and permissions for Lendlease staff, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Conduct security briefings, inductions, and training for Lendlease project staff and contractors.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures to meet security requirements in conjunction with the Construction Security Manager.
- Assist the project team with specific security requirements for subcontract packages and assist the team in reviewing these to ensure security requirements are met.
- Australian Citizenship at the time of application.
- Government Security Clearance or ability to gain and maintain one.
- Experience in the Construction Industry, preferably with experience on Government, Commercial, Data Centre, and Healthcare projects.
- Understanding of building services, security, and fit out elements.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Compliance within a construction environment.
- Ability to facilitate meetings with clients, resolve issues, and report on matters relating to security compliance.
