Job Description

MERIT Case Workers provide high-quality clinical services to clients with alcohol or drug-related issues and legal problems.

Key Role Responsibilities:
  • Offer counselling and support to clients and their families, aligned with best practice and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Provide exceptional care through integrated service models.
  • Advise courts on defendants' suitability for the MERIT program.

The MERIT team collaborates with local courts and community organisations to ensure people receive suitable care.

We seek a skilled individual to join our multidisciplinary team, providing MERIT Case Work services in a compassionate manner.

Requirements
  • A relevant Australian qualification as a Counsellor, Psychologist, Social Worker, or Registered Nurse, or a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage diverse workloads efficiently.
  • High level of professionalism with ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
