We are seeking an accomplished Elective General Surgeon to join our esteemed healthcare team.
About the Opportunity:This exciting role offers a unique chance to work with a reputable and established program, bringing your expertise and skills to a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- The successful candidate will be board-certified in General Surgery and have excellent clinical skills, with a strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- You will be required to cover 10 - 24 hour shifts per month, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced medical setting.
- Mentorship is also a key aspect of this role, with opportunities to supervise advanced practice providers and train medical students, residents, and fellows.
- A key focus of this position will be building relationships with internal teams and community partners, fostering strong communication and collaboration.
- We are looking for candidates with proven leadership and team-building abilities, who can effectively manage and motivate others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role, with a strong emphasis on clear and concise communication.
