Job Overview

A residential construction project manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of residential construction projects. This includes ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget and quality standards, as well as maintaining a safe work environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create schedules and budgets for each project.
  • Supervise site superintendents, lead carpenters and crew members, as well as subcontractors.
  • Order necessary materials and conduct daily site visits.
  • Monitor and approve expenses/invoices.
  • Foster collaboration with subcontractors and superintendents through regular meetings.
  • Maintain communication with senior project managers regarding site status via daily logs.
  • Inspect all aspects of assigned projects, including personnel, subcontractors, vendors, building inspections and client updates.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in new residential construction with supervisory capacity.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.
