Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting clients with personal hygiene and light housekeeping
  • Preparing meals and working in a kitchen
  • Providing medication reminders and assistive care
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age
  • Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Hold a First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Have a National Police Check
  • Hold a Certified Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged, or Disability Care
Desirable Skills

While not required, these skills and qualities would be beneficial:

  • 6 months of experience as a Personal Home Care Support Worker/Assistant in healthcare
  • Empathy and Compassion
  • Practical Thinking
