Job Summary

As a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Specialist, you will provide high-quality support to clients in their own homes.

Services include domestic assistance, meal preparation, personal care support, social engagement, and transport services.

  • Domestic Assistance: Supporting with household chores such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Meal Preparation: Assisting with planning, preparing, and cooking meals.
  • Personal Care Support: Helping with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
  • Social Engagement: Providing companionship and encouraging participation in social activities and community engagement.
  • Transport Services: Offering transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.
Key Responsibilities

Providing Quality Care: Deliver exceptional support services to clients, focusing on their individual needs and preferences.

Building Relationships: Develop strong relationships with clients, their families, and our team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications: A kind-hearted, patient and respectful approach; Valid NSW Driver's Licence; Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations; Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate; COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations; Basic computer and smartphone literacy; Previous experience in Home Care or Disability Support; Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community).

Desirable Skills: Empathy, Patience, Communication, Reliability, Adaptability.
