Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Controller to join our team at AXA Group. As a Senior Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of clients, including major multinational companies, and ensuring timely collection of premiums.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage premiums that fall due or are overdue, ensuring prompt collection and minimizing debtors.
  • Liaise with underwriters, brokers, and management to progress the collection process and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Reconcile brokers' statements and payments made to offshore service centers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor and match receipts and unallocated receipts, identifying any inconsistencies or inaccuracies.
  • Collaborate with the team responsible for premium booking and resolving discrepancies, accelerating the collection process on aged debt.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reporting on credit control balances to the APAC Credit Control Manager.
  • Review premium status and respond to operations before settlement of claims and refund premiums.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as directed by the APAC Credit Control Manager.
  • Adhere to all internal company procedures, including administrative procedures, expenses, and health and safety protocols.
  • Represent the AXA Group in a professional and appropriate manner, upholding the company's values and standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in insurance and financial services.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to internal and external audiences.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, taking ownership of work and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Resilient and adaptable style, with a track record of remaining calm in demanding circumstances.
  • Strong desire to challenge and deliver results, with a focus on excellence and customer satisfaction.
