Credit Controller

Omnicom Media Group is seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team in Sydney, Australia.
About the RoleWe are looking for a results-driven Credit Controller to manage our accounts receivable function, ensuring timely payment from our clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in credit control, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collect all monies owed in alignment with assigned credit terms and manage aged debt with clear invoice status updates
- Obtain debtor payment confirmations and update the cash forecast monthly
- Work closely with business directors to resolve account queries and non-payment of accounts
- Manage insurance limits assigned to clients and liaise with insurance brokers as required
- Escalate debtors exceeding assigned ageing as per the global insurance policy
- Ensure debtor statements are dispatched monthly
- Prepare reporting, including cash forecasts, debtor watch lists, and working capital calls
- Maintain a positive rapport with internal and external clients
- Manage adjustments until unpaid invoices are cleared or issues are resolved
- Assist with month-end receipting and maintain the general credit control mailbox
- At least 3 years of experience in a full-function credit control/accounts receivable role
- Passionate about a career in credit control/accounts receivable
- Results-driven and goal-oriented
- Experience with high-volume debtor accounts and strong reconciliation skills
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookup
