Production Leading Hand Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Leading Hand to join our team at dnata catering. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading by example and performing all duties of a Senior Catering Attendant and Catering Attendant.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and induct team members within designated work areas in all internal and external policies and procedures.
  • Skilled use of large machinery.
  • Thoroughly understand and implement quality control techniques and ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Ensure that that area of responsibility is properly organised and productivity and performance criteria are met.
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance and productivity in designated work areas.

Requirements:

  • Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day week, on a full-time basis.
  • Experience of working in a food environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Fine motor skills.
  • Access to own transport.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Sound knowledge of WHS & hygiene.
  • HACCP experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
