The Role: Accounting Team Expansion

We are expanding our capabilities in financial visibility and control by joining a dedicated team in the APAC region. Our goal is to bridge accounting and business information through accurate financial planning, analysis, reporting, and process controlling to accelerate management decisions.

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of budget guidelines, creating a strategy and framework for controlling, helping define the roadmap, and interacting with various stakeholders.

You will also assist in creating an effective reporting structure that provides recurrent and accurate financial visibility to relevant stakeholders and delivers recommendations for costs and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in creating the annual budget, establishing processes and decision criteria for optimal expenditure levels on business operations to achieve targets, focusing on fleet services and operational costs;
  • Periodically verify accounting entries to ensure financial statements accurately reflect business activity, acting as a bridge between business teams and accounting;
  • Support providing management with accurate financial information and recommendations for initiatives to improve processes and reduce costs;
  • Monitor business activity and project execution through key performance indicators;
  • Perform cost and business analysis compared to budget and projections;
  • Control budget execution through approval of purchase orders and invoices.

Requirements:

  • You must be fluent in English, both spoken and written;
  • You should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering;
  • You should have at least three years of working experience, preferably in a company with physical operations;
  • A background in consultancy, especially auditing at an accounting firm, and current responsibility for business controlling or FP&A is highly valued.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
