Job Summary

The role of a Risk Consultant involves leading risk advisory engagements with clients, collaborating to identify, analyze and effectively transfer risk.

  • Conduct Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) engagements to enhance risk maturity in client organizations.
  • Translate global risk management standards into actionable risk roadmaps for clients.
  • Recommend improvements in policies, procedures, processes, systems and controls while managing the execution of risk advisory projects.
  • Assess climate-related risks and develop frameworks that align with standards related to climate risk and sustainability reporting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  • Analyze complex data to identify areas of risk and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management into business operations.
  • Communicate risk management strategies and results to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, Environmental Science or Engineering.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in risk advisory and/or internal audit within a consulting firm.
  • Proficiency in risk management concepts and processes (ISO 31000, COSO).
  • Experience in conducting climate risk assessments and integrating climate considerations into enterprise risk management frameworks.
