Our organization is seeking a Governance Leader to join our team in a senior governance role.

The Governance Leader will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the Board and its committees, as well as providing corporate governance support to enable Directors to discharge their corporate and fiduciary duties effectively. This includes managing the board and committee meeting matters, undertaking policy and charter writing and reviews, leading and managing process and system development, enhancement, and training, and other ad hoc duties as required.

For this role, we are looking for a highly experienced professional with a Bachelor of Laws or related Bachelor qualifications in a legal/business discipline. A Member of the Governance Institute of Australia, and designation as a Chartered Secretary would also be beneficial. The ideal candidate will have minimum five years' recent experience in a senior governance role and/or a company secretary in a financial services firm, preferably in superannuation.
