Position Overview

We are looking for skilled candidates to become part of our dedicated Culinary Services team. This part-time role involves shifts from 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM on a rotating schedule, with opportunities to take on extra shifts, totaling up to 35 hours every two weeks. Flexibility regarding start times may be accommodated.

The primary responsibilities of this role include supporting the operation of our food service system, as well as performing various cleaning and food service tasks such as preparing, plating, and delivering meals and beverages to patients, residents, and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a similar capacity
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage time and meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards relevant to a culinary environment (Familiarity with HACCP is preferred)

Preferred:

  • Certification in food handling
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Barista experience
  • Qualifications in the hospitality sector
