Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced operations leader to oversee our contracts across various sites in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Delivery: Ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of contract deliverables.
  • Business Growth: Identify opportunities to drive business growth through internal and external partnerships.
  • Resource Management: Effectively manage resources to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and collaborate with operational staff to ensure the success of the team.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens (further study may be considered).
  • At least five years' experience leading high-performing teams to exceed client expectations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of horticulture and the ability to stay up-to-date with emerging practices.
  • A collaborative approach, motivating team members to perform at their best.
  • Experience dealing with diverse needs of a large client group and demonstrated expertise in organisation, problem-solving, time management, and decision-making.
  • Well-developed commercial acumen, financial, and budgeting skills, proficiency with IT, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent negotiation abilities and written and verbal communication skills.
  • A White Card and valid driver's licence. You should also possess or be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check.
