About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Swim Coach to lead and mentor our coaching team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swim coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver effective training programs that cater to diverse needs and goals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages athlete development and growth.
  • Build strong relationships with club members and stakeholders to promote participation and engagement.
  • Support the progression of swimmers in line with organizational objectives.

Requirements:

  • A current Swimming Australia Coach Accreditation
  • No less than five years of coaching experience (including state/national level)
  • A thorough understanding of athlete development and talent pathways
  • Experience leading a coaching team and promoting positive culture
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A passion for coaching, wellbeing, and community sport
  • A current Working with Children Check, CPR, and First Aid certification
  • A current driver's license and authorization to work in Australia
