Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant with an engineering background to lead our Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing bid preparation and proposal development, serving as primary client contact on projects, and generating new opportunities and relationships with prospective clients by developing strategies and initiatives to further grow the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of consultants to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget, offering guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Bid Preparation: Direct the preparation and development of proposals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Client Management: Serve as primary client contact on projects, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, safety, and financial performance meet expectations.
  • Business Development: Generate new opportunities and relationships with prospective clients by developing strategies and initiatives to further grow the business.
Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering (all disciplines considered).
  • Experience: Relevant experience (9+ years) in a similar role within a consulting or professional services environment will be valuable.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience leading a team and managing multiple projects with competing demands.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing projects to completion, within budget and to a high standard.
