We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Plant Project Engineer to join our team at Airswift. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering equipment packages to our clients in the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities- Package Management: Act as the primary point of contact and driving force for assigned equipment packages, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Scope Definition: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, advise client stakeholders, and work with the EPCM design team to define package scope and requirements.
- Tender Preparation: Support the EPCM procurement team in preparing tender documents, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
- Tender Evaluation: Lead technical bid evaluations and participate in tender selection and award recommendations, ensuring the best value for our clients.
- Supplier Management: Conduct kick-off meetings, serve as the main contact for suppliers/contractors, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the EPCM quality team on QA/QC, including inspections, testing, and resolving non-conformance reports.
- Procurement Claims: Manage procurement-related claims from suppliers/contractors, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing delays.
- Delivery Coordination: Coordinate with the site team on delivery schedules and arrange post-delivery support to ensure seamless project execution.
- Document Management: Approve and close document deliverables, including MDR and As-Built drawings, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
- Progress Monitoring: Assess progress for payments and initiate warranty claims if necessary, ensuring timely payment and minimizing disputes.
- Project Delivery: Ensure the package is delivered on quality, time, and within budget, meeting client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Experience: Proven experience in package engineering for equipment used in iron ore processing plants, including crushers, feeders, screens, rock breakers, dust collectors, conveyors, winches, magnets, weighers, hydraulic power units, and pumps.
- Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent communication and project management skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
