Key Responsibilities
  • We are seeking an expert to lead the planning, process design, and management of water and sewer infrastructure projects.
  • The selected candidate will prepare and review high-quality process designs, business cases, design reports, and cost estimates. They must ensure accuracy, reliability, and alignment with council objectives and stakeholder requirements.
  • Feasible plant upgrade strategies and concept designs need to be developed to meet future demands and improve operational efficiency.
  • Assistance or leadership is required for assessments of plant site capacities to ensure infrastructure meets future needs.
Requirements
  • A degree-level qualification in Chemical (Process) Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar discipline is required, with a focus on water and sewer systems.
  • Proven experience in managing water and sewer infrastructure projects, including design and process management, is essential.
  • Strong technical skills in preparing process designs, reports, and cost estimates are necessary.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, are required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues are expected.
