Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Water Process Planning Engineer to join our team. As a key player in managing and designing water, sewer, and recycled water treatment plant augmentation projects, you will play a vital role in ensuring these projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, process design, and management of water and sewer infrastructure projects, guaranteeing they meet council objectives and stakeholder requirements.
  • Prepare and review high-quality process designs, business cases, design reports, and cost estimates, maintaining accuracy, reliability, and alignment with council objectives.
  • Develop feasible plant upgrade strategies and concept designs to meet future demands and improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist with or lead assessments of plant site capacities to ensure infrastructure meets future needs.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree level qualification in Chemical (Process) Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar discipline, with a focus on water and sewer systems.
  • Proven experience in managing water and sewer infrastructure projects, including design and process management.
  • Strong technical skills in preparing process designs, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
