Job Title

A Health and Safety Coordinator is required to provide administrative support ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Managing WH&S tasks across the organization to meet legislative and organisational deadlines
  • Advising leadership on relevant changes in regulations and legislations and implementing changes to policies and procedures
  • Supporting staff in managing organisational registers
  • Advising and facilitating risk assessments for events and activities
  • Investigating, reporting and providing recommendations on health and safety matters

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
  • Previous risk and compliance administration or management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A people-centric approach
  • Experience providing risk and compliance advice

Benefits

This is a permanent full-time position working up to 52 weeks per year including school holidays. The successful applicant will work 30 hours per week (4 days per week). School Officer Level 5 remuneration applies.
