Senior Town Planning Professional

A highly respected, multidisciplinary consultancy seeks a seasoned Senior Town Planner for its growing Urban Planning division.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage teams of professionals, staff, projects, and marketing strategies.
  • Liaise with clients regarding site development potential and opportunities.
  • Represent clients at VCAT hearings.
  • Conduct in-depth research on Urban and Regional areas.
  • Remain up-to-date with planning policy changes and decisions.
  • Develop business across various industry markets.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in Urban and Regional Planning or higher.
  • Post-graduate work experience (circa 8+ years).
  • Technical and practical expertise in the Victorian system.
  • Demonstrated technical competency in Strategic and Statutory planning projects.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver projects successfully.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring or managing staff.
  • Experience at VCAT.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Robust report writing skills.
