About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Family Violence Practitioner to join our team at The Salvation Army. As a key member of our community support services, you will provide outreach case management support to women and women with children who have experienced or are currently experiencing family violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management Support: Provide individualized case management support to clients in accordance with our organization's case management models and standards of practice.
  • Ongoing Assessment: Conduct ongoing assessments of clients' issues from initial intake to exit.
  • Case Planning: Develop and implement individual case plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating a range of interventions that address their goals and needs.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and review the progress of individual case plans to ensure effective support and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification: Possess a tertiary qualification in Social Work.
  • Experience: Have experience working in the family violence sector, with a strong understanding of specialist family violence and child well-being work.
  • Case Management Skills: Demonstrate strong case management skills, including time management and work prioritization.
  • Computer Skills: Possess advanced computer skills, including experience in data and record management.
  • Driver's Licence: Hold a valid Victorian Driver's Licence.
