About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Family Violence Practitioner You will provide outreach case management support to women and women with children who have experienced or are currently experiencing family violence.
Responsibilities include
- Case management support provided to clients in accordance with TSA case management models and standards of practice
- Ongoing assessment made of client’s issues from initial intake to exit
- Individual case plans developed in collaboration with clients and include a range of interventions that address goals of clients
- Case plans implemented and actively led by the participant
- Progress of individual case plans regularly monitored and reviewed
This is a fixed-term part-time position, 30.4 hours per week, based in Frankston, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 5 Award.
You will have
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work (essential)
- Experience working in family violence sector (desirable)
- Experience in specialist family violence and/or child well-being work (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated case management experience and skills
- Highly developed time management and work prioritisation skills with an ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision (required)
- Advanced computer skills including experience in data and record management
- A Victorian Driver's Licence (essential)
