Key Responsibilities- Supervise the medical care delivered by other medical officers within the department
- Participate in education and training for medical and nursing staff
- Contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement activities within the practice setting
- Provide code blue support after hours for the IMU
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration
- Demonstrated experience in clinical emergency medicine
- Competent in routine and common emergency procedural skills
- A comprehensive range of medical and surgical services to patients from across the Fleurieu Peninsula and surrounding communities
- 24-hour emergency care and acute inpatient medical and surgical services
