Technical Service and Support Specialist

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in the design, development and production of machinery for various industries.

Job Summary

As a Technical Service and Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance to clients, agents and other staff. Your primary responsibilities include completing paperwork for accurate records, demonstrating machines at customers' locations, training customers upon machine delivery and representing the company's image and range of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical service and support to clients, agents and other staff.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork required to maintain accurate records and accountability including work orders, warranty, retrofit, inspection & quality reports.
  • Demonstrate machines at customers' locations.
  • Train customers upon machine delivery.
  • Represent and support the company's image and range of products.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Appropriate trade qualifications.
  • Extensive experience in servicing and repair of industrial equipment and mobile machinery with a focus on hydraulics and heavy machinery mechanics.
  • Experience in machinery operation, viticulture or agriculture industries, harvester service, working in a dealership, forklift licence, truck licence class MR, welding skills and DC 12-24V electrical experience are preferable.

The work involves working from company and customer workshops and providing field service. The role requires willingness to work outside of normal working hours and travel interstate as required.
