
Salary Consultant Position

We seek a meticulous and analytical Compensation Specialist to support our compensation programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting market pricing and benchmarking using salary surveys and internal data.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of job descriptions to determine appropriate salary levels, taking into account industry standards and internal equity.
- Analyze compensation data to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders on compensation decisions for new hires, promotions, and annual reviews, providing strategic recommendations to optimize pay structures.
- Develop and maintain compensation plans, policies, and procedures that align with organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on relevant changes and updates.
- Participate in compensation-related projects such as salary audits, equity reviews, and pay transparency initiatives, leveraging expertise to drive business results.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and informative compensation reports and dashboards to inform business decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or related field, preferably with a proven track record of success in compensation planning and analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and functions; experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
- Familiarity with compensation survey tools (e.g., Mercer, Radford, Willis Towers Watson), and the ability to leverage this knowledge to drive business outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- CCP certification is a plus but not required.
