About Us

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our kindergarten team at the Traralgon campus.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering the planned curriculum, administering and operating the classroom within guidelines and policies set by the school board and executive leadership team.

  • Establish a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, physical and cognitive development in children.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • Support and encourage children to develop their knowledge, skills and values through play-based learning experiences.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, assessments and reporting.
Key Responsibilities

The Kindergarten Teacher will be responsible for:

  • Implementing the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and the Chairo Kinder Educational Policies.
  • Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Providing opportunities for children to engage in play-based learning experiences that promote social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
