We offer programs tailored to each student's needs, providing remediation, consolidation, and extension learning in numeracy and literacy from kindergarten through college.
About the Role
At Kip McGrath, we prioritise teaching excellence. As a primary education specialist, you will teach students in a small group setting, helping them grow their confidence and meet their goals daily.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Delivering lessons using our established methodology
- Tutoring students in a positive, caring manner to promote self-esteem and self-worth
- Quickly learning our state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct face-to-face lessons, saving you time on prep work
- Being committed to every scheduled class to ensure continuity and consistency
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with students and parents through strong rapport-building skills
- Recording students' progress and goals online on a weekly basis
- Providing verbal and written feedback to parents
- Working up to 2-3 sessions per day (Monday to Saturday)
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A teaching degree or be in the final year of your studies
- A current Working with Children Check
- A friendly, professional, and personable approach
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment and independently
- Demonstrate a positive, vibrant personality
- Confidence using software and computers
- A genuine passion for learning and teaching
- Reliable, high attention to detail, and strong organisational skills
- Ability and willingness to teach both face-to-face in our Springfield centre and online as required by management once you have successfully completed the training requirements
