The RoleWe are seeking an experienced primary education tutor to join our team at the Kip McGrath Education Centre in Springfield QLD. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for teaching students using our proprietary methodology, fostering a positive and caring environment to promote self-esteem and self-worth. You will work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach students using the Kip McGrath methodology, focusing on literacy and numeracy development
- Tutor students in small groups, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment
- Utilize state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct lessons, minimizing preparation time
- Commit to scheduled classes, ensuring consistent and high-quality instruction
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A teaching degree or be in the final year of your studies
- A current Working with Children Check
- A friendly, professional demeanor, with excellent communication skills
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Confidence in using software and computers, with a willingness to learn new technologies
- A genuine passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results

- A competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience
