Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security operations centre, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance of knowledge on the global threat environment, assessing risk and response strategies to potential emerging threats.
This role requires strong leadership and technical skills, with a proven ability to work autonomously and contribute in a team environment. You will be responsible for providing security advice, driving continuous improvement within the team, and ensuring the effective management of multiple activities, understanding priorities, dependencies and risk.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing security advice and guidance to internal stakeholders
- Driving continuous improvement within the team through process improvements and training
- Managing and maintaining security systems, including SIEM configuration and tuning
- Triage and incident response for security alerts
- Developing and implementing security reporting and analytics
- Communicating effectively with customers and stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have experience in areas such as Splunk configuration and tuning, engaging with technical groups, and understanding SIEM output in the context of the environment. Additionally, they will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
