Senior Data Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineering Lead to lead our data engineering team and drive the development of our regulatory reporting platform. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, problem-solving, and technical professional to contribute to the growth and success of our organisation.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of our data pipelines, ensuring that they are efficient, scalable, and secure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

About the Role
  • Leverage your expertise in Big Data and Hadoop to design and implement scalable data pipelines using Spark, Hive, and Presto.
  • Develop and maintain complex data integration tools such as Talend, DataStage, or Informatica.
  • Collaborate with data architects to design and implement data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Work with cloud computing services like EC2, S3, RDS, and EMR to develop and deploy cloud-based data solutions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from designing and implementing new data pipelines to enhancing existing ones.
