Job Title: Data Engineering Leader
OverviewThis is a unique opportunity to lead our company's data practices, focusing on scalability, reliability, and future-proofing. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines that are scalable to support the collection, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data into databases, warehouses or data lakes.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive meaningful change and positively impact team member growth and productivity. As a data engineering leader, you will become the strategic owner and technical leader of our data and analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Become the strategic owner and technical leader of our data and analytics platforms.
- Build and optimize data pipelines that are scalable to support the collection, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data into databases, warehouses or data lakes.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing robust validation and observability processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data systems with business goals and measure success.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to understand stakeholder needs and develop a holistic strategy.
- Strong communication and advocacy for data-driven practices, including internal education around data.
- Extensive experience with SQL, data modeling tools (e.g., Dataform), and programming languages such as Python or R; data system architecture experience.
