Offshore Health and Safety Professional

Our offshore operations require an experienced professional to oversee health, safety, and medical care for our teams. This role demands a high level of expertise in implementing HSE systems, providing guidance, and managing medical emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with experience in clinical settings and the oil and gas industry. A qualified nurse or paramedic with valid registration is essential, along with certification in health and safety and training and assessment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing HSE policies and procedures through consultation and coordination with marine and project management teams.
  • Providing HSE advice and oversight in support of construction/subsea intervention activities.
  • Conducting workforce coaching and training in company HSE policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating and conducting HSE training on board the vessel.
  • Recording incidents and HSE statistical information.
  • Conducting incident investigations in line with company procedures.
  • Managing the ships hospital, including maintaining equipment in line with company and flag state requirements.
  • Responding and managing medical emergencies.
  • Managing Drug and Alcohol testing in line with company policy.
  • Maintaining medical records and injury reports.
