Strategic Accounting Advisory Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Advisory Accountant to join our team in Melbourne. This opportunity involves working closely with senior managers to provide tax and financial advisory services to clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for companies, individuals, partnerships, trusts, and Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs)
- Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), Income Tax Assessments (IAS), and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns
- Identify and evaluate complex issues including Division 7A, Personal Services Income (PSI), Capital Gains Tax (CGT)
- Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and cash flow projections for large groups
- Provide expert tax planning and advising on small business concessions, effective structures, asset protection, and tax minimization strategies
- Mentor and train junior and intermediate accountants to enhance their skills and knowledge
The ideal candidate will be a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified individual with at least three years' experience in an Australian public practice firm. They will be a strategic thinker capable of building on existing relationships and providing exceptional client service.
