Family Support Specialist

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting families to ensure children can thrive at home. You will be the point of contact for addressing concerns surrounding child safety and wellbeing.
">- Engage with parents, family members and children sensitively and respectfully.
- Collaborate with other agencies and contribute to complex problem-solving exercises.
- Develop goals with families that address their needs and provide support through regular home visits.
- Design and implement safety plans and conduct thorough risk assessments.
- Manage high-needs and high-risk cases while working closely with clients and their families.
- Be involved in court processes, including preparing documentation and attending proceedings.
- A confident, resilient individual.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
- A valid driver's license (P1 or above).
- A current paid working with children clearance number.
