We are seeking a Senior Technical Manager to drive operational excellence across our Concrete and Aggregates and Masonry divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide product subject matter expertise and technical support to our teams.
  • Lead the management of our ISO9001 quality system to deliver consistent quality outcomes.
  • Establish best practice quality guidelines for our concrete and aggregates and masonry operations.
  • Identify and implement key improvement initiatives.
  • Measure, monitor, track, and report progress against improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a technical role within the construction materials industry is essential.
  • An engineering or materials science degree is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Proven experience managing a continuous improvement program would be advantageous.
  • A working knowledge of QEST laboratory information management systems is required.
  • A thorough understanding of Australian Standards, infrastructure specifications, and low carbon concrete guidelines is necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • A high level of analytical ability with the capacity to interpret trends in data is required.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify and optimize products and processes is essential.
