We are seeking a vibrant and outgoing individual to join our team as a Receptionist Member Concierge at Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, with exceptional personal presentation, a courteous and friendly manner, and clear verbal and written communication skills.


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong interest in the health and fitness industry, with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. They will also be able to build rapport with members and internal staff, and work in a calm, methodical manner when under pressure.


The role is part-time and casual, with flexible hours and days required. Proof of right to work in Australia documentation will be required to be presented at the first interview, and a Working with Vulnerable People WWVP check will be required for all employees.


The club environment is spectacular, with flexible working hours, gym membership, and a team-oriented culture. The successful candidate will be an excellent fit for this role if they are passionate about health and fitness, and strive to deliver 5-Star customer service.


About the Role:


As the first point of contact for our Members and an array of visitors to the Club, the aim of this role is to provide exceptional 5-Star service and ensure a positive experience at every interaction.


We have part-time and casual positions available, which will suit someone who is studying, ready to re-enter the workforce or someone looking to commence their career in service. The role is very diverse, with a requirement to understand and keep up to date with everything that's going on in the Club at any given time.


About You:


You will be immaculately presented, with exceptional communication skills and experience in a reception or similar role. It is essential that you are positive, energetic and pride yourself on being able to adapt, be flexible and a real team player. You will need to be comfortable with juggling priorities and being able to think on your feet.


The following hours are required:



  • Hours spread across Monday-Sunday
  • Some weekend shifts may also be required for this role

Key Requirements:



  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Having a courteous and friendly manner
  • Exceptional personal presentation
  • An interest in the health and fitness industry
  • Being a vibrant and outgoing individual
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • A personal drive to provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction
  • Highly developed customer relations skills
  • The ability to master required software applications
  • Having the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Able to build rapport with members and internal staff
  • Works in a calm, methodical manner when under pressure
