Accounting Professional Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.\
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management.\
  • Payroll Management: Oversee all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages, including superannuation and tax obligations.\
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.\
  • BAS Preparation & Lodgement: Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) accurately and on time.\
  • Invoicing & Billing: Manage the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of customer billing.\
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations.\
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.\
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.\
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to existing financial processes and systems.\
  • Liaison: Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other relevant stakeholders.\
  • Ad-hoc Duties: Perform other related duties as required.\

About You:

  • Proven experience in accounting or a related field.\
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.\
  • Demonstrated proficiency in preparing and lodging BAS.\
  • Experience with accounting software.\
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.\
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.\
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.\
