Life Story Collector Volunteer

Unlock a rewarding volunteer opportunity to record life stories, memories, and messages for loved ones.
As a social visitor, you will spend quality time with an elderly client in Bathurst, helping them turn their life experiences into lasting gifts for family members.
The visit is expected to last up to 5 hours per week. You will be responsible for listening attentively, taking notes, and transcribing the conversations into written form.
Key Responsibilities- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
- 50 words per minute typing skills
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Own car to drive to the home of the client
- Willingness to learn new technology and software
Regular visits from volunteers can have a profound impact on the lives of older people, improving their quality of life and reducing feelings of isolation.
