To achieve this vision, we need talented professionals who share our values and can contribute to our success. As an Operational Engagement Manager, you will be a key point of contact for government agencies, collaborating with CASA and Airservices Australia to ensure operational compliance and regulatory oversight.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and interpreting relevant regulations and industry standards, as well as overseeing regulatory sandbox activities and assisting in the development of compliant training syllabus for Wisk AU personnel.

This role requires strong project management and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Engagement: Act as a liaison between government agencies and our organization, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulations.
  • Compliance Oversight: Monitor and interpret relevant regulations and industry standards to ensure our operations remain compliant.
  • Regulatory Sandbox Activities: Oversee and manage the establishment and conduct of regulatory sandbox activities in consultation with CASA and Airservices Australia.
  • Regulatory Training: Assist in developing training materials and programs to ensure Wisk AU personnel have the necessary knowledge and skills to comply with regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and achieve our mission.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in operational and/or regulatory affairs, regulatory compliance, or related roles in the aviation industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of aviation-specific regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
