We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Operations Manager to join our Business Development team at Latrobe City Council.
The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing and operating the Latrobe Regional Airport, ensuring compliance with all safety, regulation, and compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the Airport's business and day-to-day operations, including people management, financial budgeting, and forecasting.
- Working with the Investment and Transition and Business and Industry Development teams to promote and market the Airport to potential users and stakeholders.
- Assisting in the development of the Latrobe Aerospace Technology Precinct as a leading Advanced Air Mobility ecosystem in Australia.
- Providing support and guidance to tenants at the airport and the Latrobe Valley Aero Club.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of airport operations, business management, and regulatory compliance, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
They will also be able to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the development of the Latrobe Regional Airport as a leading community-owned business.
