About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Logistics Team Operations Manager to join our team at Bega Cheese in Morwell. As a critical member of our logistics network, you'll lead up to 24 team members across 4 crews, managing warehouse operations, external transport, and logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage logistics warehousing and distribution operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations
  • Lead a high-performing team, utilizing your leadership skills to grow and improve the operations
  • Identify opportunities to develop your people and continuously improve the operations
  • Ensure compliance with national and site safety systems, procedures, and policies
  • Establish and implement the daily dock schedule, coordinate transport resource requirements, and liaise with transport providers

About You

  • Hands-on leadership experience in a FMCG Food Manufacturing (Supply Chain environment or cold-chain networks)
  • Background in safety systems and programs, cold chain compliance metrics
  • Experience developing and training staff in best practice processes
  • IT system knowledge TMS/WMS or SAP will be highly regarded
