Job Description

Nurse Next Door Home Care Services enables people to live a fulfilling life at home for as long as possible. We deliver flexible in-home nursing care options to those in the Aged Care and Disability sectors, ranging from 24/7 care to one-hour visits for wound care or diabetes management.

We are building our care team with a variety of experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses who are able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a premium care experience to clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
  • Deliver care following the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
  • Meet the safety needs of the clients and use equipment safely and properly
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
  • Conduct Nursing Assessments
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Community nursing would be an advantage
  • Subacute and disability experience
  • Ability to identify and report client care concerns to the Director of Clinical Operations
  • Ability to redirect or deescalate behaviours
  • Diabetes management
  • Dementia experience would be an advantage
  • Leadership experience is an advantage
