Overview

MECHVAC Engineering is an exciting and visionary company specialising in providing turnkey engineering solutions to industry from conceptual design through to installation and commissioning of high value facility upgrade projects. Located in a modern office and factory complex in Pooraka, MECHVAC offers an opportunity to work in a well-established, ISO 9001 accredited team environment in both engineering and manufacturing.

MECHVAC is an expanding business with major multi-national customers in the Defence, Manufacturing, Food and Resources sectors. This position will offer a range of career development prospects and will appeal to Project Engineers or Tradespersons looking to transition into professional services.

Responsibilities
  • Engineering projects experience, minimum 3 years, with some project co-ordination or supervision experience
  • Installation and commissioning of plant equipment
  • Project estimating, scheduling and co-ordination
  • Proficient in understanding Australian Standards and Regulatory requirements associated with the industry
Essential Attributes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor
  • Proficient in Risk Assessment
  • Driver's Licence
Desirable Attributes
  • Trade level qualifications
  • Mechanical Engineering qualifications at Degree/Diploma level recognized by the Institute of Engineers Australia
  • Manual Handling, White Card, Yellow Card and Forklift / EWP licences
