
Financial Hardship Specialist

At Plenti, we're looking for a specialist to help our most vulnerable customers navigate financial hardship.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to empathize with customers who are struggling to meet their loan obligations.
You will work closely with external agencies and internal teams to assess customer financial circumstances and identify solutions to get them back on track.
This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, including the NCCP Act, Privacy Act, and AML/KYC regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess customer financial circumstances and develop effective hardship plans
- Liaise with external collections agencies and internal teams to implement hardship processes
- Evaluate proposed debt agreements and bankruptcy petitions
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an unsecured or secured hardship role
- Strong understanding of hardship regulations and compliance
- Exceptional verbal communication skills and ability to empathize with customers
