We are seeking a skilled Multiplayer Gaming Server Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with C# / .NET and multiplayer gaming server solutions.

The chosen professional will work closely with Unity experts, hosting/infrastructure experts, and PHP experts to develop efficient multiplayer gaming server solutions in C#/DotNet.

  • Develop scalable multiplayer gaming server solutions using C# 10+, DotNet Standard 2, and DotNet 6+.
  • Collaborate with Unity experts to debug and enhance Unity integration with the server.
  • Work with hosting/infrastructure experts to design and maintain deployment and update solutions primarily using AWS cloud deployment.
  • Assist PHP experts in developing API and reporting solutions to support multiplayer servers.

Requirements:

  • Over 2 years of experience working with C#/DotNet in a relevant multiplayer project.
  • Proficiency in supporting technologies including socket connections (TCP and UDP), data compression, encryption, etc.
  • Experience working in a gaming environment, preferably having developed solutions in Unity.
  • Experience with cloud hosting and deployment, primarily using AWS.
  • Knowledge of source control, preferably GIT, and JIRA.
  • Preferably knowledge of MySQL, Memcached, and Redis.

Desirable Skills:

  • Great problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence in communicating ideas, solutions, and issues in a fast-paced team.
  • Open-mindedness towards researching, using, and implementing new technologies.
  • Good time estimation of effort.
